Steve received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and a masters degree in finance from Drake University. He began lending in 1989. Steve was the Birmingham Association of Realtors Affiliate of the Year in 2007, the Women's Council of Realtors Member of the year in 2006, and a member of the Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders Sales and Marketing Council. Steve is also a regular guest presenter at the Birmingham Urban League. He prides himself in helping people realize the American dream of home ownership. Steve is one of the top loan producers in the Birmingham area and is frequently quoted in the newspaper.
